A man surnamed Chen (40 years old) slashed and injured a woman surnamed Ye (29 years old) outside a supermarket on Sanchong Road, Nangang District, Taipei City today (29). The woman was sent to the hospital with 4 knives. First aid was given, but fortunately he was conscious, and the man surnamed Chen was suspected of having scratched his hand during the scuffle, and was escorted to the hospital.

According to the preliminary investigation by the police, the man surnamed Chen and the woman surnamed Ye were ex-boyfriends and friends. After chasing and slashing with a machete, officers from the Nangang Police Station of the Nangang Police Station arrived at the scene and asked him to throw the knife and arrest him.
