Atlanta police are still searching for the gunman in a deadly shooting that occurred on Thursday afternoon outside a southeast Atlanta gas station. The shooting happened around 4 p.m. along the 300 block of Hill Street SE, at the Shell gas station near the American Deli restaurant. The victim, a male in his 20s, suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead by first responders. A man detained after the incident is not the shooter. The circumstances of the shooting remain under investigation.

Surveillance video obtained by FOX 5 shows the shooting unfold in the gas station parking lot. The victim was walking outside the American Deli before he was struck. The victim’s family says their son was 22-years-old.

As of Friday morning, Atlanta Police have not yet officially released the victim’s name and age.
