Police have launched an investigation into this fatal incident which killed 5 workers. The incident occurred at the Ayuterra Resort in Ubud, which is a popular tourist destination. According to official claims, the cables on the lift suddenly snapped. Consequently, the lift lost control and descended 100 meters at a damaging speed.
